As long as the US includes the South and the rural states, it's not worth joining.
The South is being reformed. If Atlanta is a good example, then only about 50% of the people here have the accent anymore and there are actually nontrivial numbers of people with Kerry-Edwards bumper stickers wandering around.
Rural states...well, probably about as reformable as yours too.
Besides, joining us would negate the South even before the reform was done. ;)
Sadly, my colour vision is so dodgy the codes for white and Asian look the same to me.
