The police did a big raid to remove barriers in the Euromaidan square, but pulled back after doing so, not ousting the protestors.
Yanukovich offered talks for a compromise. The protestors said no.
Europe and Ukraine are set to restart their talks on December 12, 2013.
The US is threatening sanctions on Ukraine over the police actions (not sure this is the right play, btw).
And through it all the Ukrainian opposition has stayed united, despite being incredibly fractious.
What a mess.
