My daughter has had long, braided hair since she was very little. For a very long time, it was a point of pride and even teasing to cut it would send her into tears in an instant. However, just before thanksgiving, she cut it. Because she wanted to. It wasn't her who was devastated by the haircut. It was Daddy.
Ain't it funny?
(and her hair looks darker than it is, but it is getting darker)
