If you thought the political scence could NOT get any weirder for the US presidential election, folks, it just did. Anton Scalia, one of the most conservative members of the Supreme Court, just died.
Its already erupted by some of the candidates (Republican, of course) that the next President ought to fill the seat. If Obama does, then it settles many legal debates for at least a generation and possibly, well, forever, with the demographic changes.
We'll see though. There are several others up there in age. There may be a lot of replacements coming.
