It is supposed to be 105 ft long and comes from 88 million years ago from Argentina. Interestingly, this monster sized titanosaur was around near the end of the Cretaceous in Gondwanaland. That tells me that the GL fauna was far more conservative than even I thought: mega sauropods until the KT?
Tres Interesting.

Aw, damnit. You beat me to it! I printed the paper out and everything, and was going to write a big blog about it tomorrow.
Anyway, this is awesome. It's the most complete ginormous sauropod yet discovered! I think it's interesting that sauropods became mega-huge in Gondwanaland. Must be something in the water down there. And they certainly weren't conservative--if anything, the southern sauropods were livin' it up, diverging into beaked forms, plated forms, lawnmower-mouthed forms, and McLarge Huge forms!
