Russia's Most Syrian Adventure #16

No word as of the time I had to split as to the number of airstrikes in the last 24 hours.

Russia states it hit 83 targets in the last 24 hours.

You can see an Su-30 intercept a Reaper drone here from the Sukhoi's POV.

The Russians denied any had any soldiers from the Russian armed forces killed in Syria.  This leaves two equally strong possibilities.  The first is the Russians are lying; after all, there were no Russian armed forces in the Donbass!  Or the Russians killed were irregulars like those being recruited in the Donbass.

The Pentagon has stated Russia and the US have signed an accord to avoid clashes and crashes in the air.  I can't help but feel this is a betrayal of the Syrians we had been helping, however poorly.

There are some odd rumors the FSA is going to have a surprise for the Russian Aerospace Force shortly.  Most likely some stupid rumor.

The Russo-Assadite offensive is displacing tens of thousands of people.  It ought to be expected there will be another big wave of refugees to Europe.

To be fair to Russia, they were saying around 50% of the country had already fled long before Russia got involved ( http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/11/world/syria-refugee-crisis-when-war-displaces-half-a-country/ ), so they can't be blamed for the bad state of affairs. Our US policies have been utter failures in every regard for helping Syria, it appears.
