Russia's Most Syrian Adventure #5

Russian Airstrikes in Hama province, Syria.

Wow!  What a difference a day makes!

Hinds providing close air support in Hama province, Syria.

What is being called a joint Russian-Syrian armored ground offensive seems to be underway towards Hama.   There are reports of at least one Russian casualty.

Russia fired cruise missiles at the Syrian rebels.  Some are claimed to be fired from the Caspian Sea, meaning they overflew Iran and Iraq more than likely.   At least 26 cruise missiles were fired.

The Russians hit Talbiseh and US backed Syrian rebel ammo depots with air strikes.

The Russians have deployed another battalion of ground troops in the last week.

The US has stated it won't cooperate with the Russians militarily in Syria.

Turkish F-16s continue to be harassed and now, supposedly. US Predator drones are being stalked by Russian fighters.

Russia claims the US isn't even attacking al Nusra and Islamic State.

Moscow claims its ready to establish contacts with the Free Syrian Army.

In Syria, the Russians are facing off against Chechens.  Again.  Note, Chechens went over to Ukraine to fight the Russians there.  And other Chechens joined to fight on the Russian side.  Chechnya is just the gift that keeps on giving.
