Russia's Most Syrian Adventure #6

Russia claims to have launched 27 air strikes in the last 24 hours.  They claim the strikes were against IS.  Locals on the ground have stated only two were against IS.

The Russo-Assad offensive seems to be making progress.  Rumors are of over 70 km taken in the first day.  More since.

Despite Lavrov's claims the Free Syrian Army is NOT a terrorist organization and Russia is willing to open contacts, fighting between Russian Hind Attack Helicopters and FSA ground forces has been raging.

The Russian cruise missiles were fired without warning to the US coalition in Syria.

Western aircraft have been told to steer at least 20 miles clear of Russian fighters.

NATO's Secretary General has stated he's ready to send ground troops to Turkey.
