3rd Test Flight of Indian Nuclear Cruise Missile Failed

The third test flight of India's indigenously designed nuclear-capable 1,000 km-range subsonic tactical cruise missile, known as Nirbhay (Fearless) was terminated after an 11-minute flight on 16 October.

An Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) statement said that the two-stage missile, launched from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur on the east coast, was destroyed 700 seconds later, after it deviated from its path over the Bay of Bengal.
