Stealth Saga #21

Indonesia and South Korea have signed a $1.3 billion deal for Indonesia's participation in the KF-X program covering 1/5th the cost.

China is even saying it needs better engines for its J-20 stealth fighter.

Reports are that India is still balking at the price for the PAK-FA.  The price for India's participation and tech transfer went from $6 billion to $3.7 billion.  Reportedly, India is still unimpressed.

Russia claims the PAK-FA will be equipped with a ROFAR: Radio-Optic Phased Array Radar.  It sounds like a LIDAR.

MiG-31 Replacement:

The Russians have started designing a MiG-31 replacement.
